Moral Issues in the News

For each of these, please consider whether the actions described or recommended in the news story bring us closer to the ideal world or in the opposite direction.

Sometimes political leaders are faced with challenges because of lack of public support, lack of resources, or limitations in what is practical to enforce. Neverthless, we typically expect our leaders to do the best they can. Have a look at these stories, and judge for yourself if the proposed solutions will take us to the future we aspire to!
